new remix: "I haven't played piano in a while"

A couple of days ago, I listened to a beautiful piano improvisation by Tennessee-based musician Jet Smith. The recording of that session suggests that it simply happened right there in the moment, not too much planning beforehand or even preparation of the recording procedure. At some points you can hear the sound of cars passing by his window. This noise together with the delightfully played piano create a superb setting and make it sound incredibly true and warm. After listening to it a lot of times, some days later I decided to use the improvisation, reassemble some parts and add a little bit of drumming to it.

Here is a slow and deep remix of this wonderful piano improvisation: "Jethimself - I haven't played piano in a while".

two musical souls:"Armas" vs "François Rengère"

You might have noticed, that I am using different aliases when producing music. "Armas" is the more melodic and trancy part inside of me, whereas "François Rengère" is more into deep house and techno sounds. I cleaned up my soundcloud and divided it into two accounts, to make things a little clearer.

Losing My Religion (François Rengère vs Dave Leon Bootleg Mix) rocking "Schmitz Katze" Club in Freiburg.

Last night Dave Leon played the R.E.M. remix at a fully packed "Schmitz Katze" Club in Freiburg, right before the arrival of the "Moonbootica" guys. Great atmosphere!

"artist of the day" @ Tech & Deephouse Artist Support

"Tech & Deephouse Artist Support" has me featured as artist of the day. Thank you very much, guys. They picked my track "primavera" as sample tune for their post. It's still planned to be released sometime, but there have been issues with the catalogue of the label in question so let's listen to it over here in the meantime:
