Out now on beatport: Armas - "Feel The Day"!

My latest release is out now on beatport. It's been released with the dutch label NRG Dance Records, which describes it in the following way:

We at NRG Dance Records are very happy we can welcome the German producer Armas to the label. Armas has been releasing tracks on well-established labels such as Portrait Digital and No Border Recordings. There is no question about it, Armas is doing very well. His new track "Feel The Day" qualifies completely as a Progressive House gem. He's bringing more of that deep & progressive house sound as our label has been showcasing lately. "Feel The Day" is heavily but beautifully layered, featured excellent transitions and introductions of sounds. The break is really relaxed with some smooth vocals and deep Pluck chords in the background. Make sure you spare a couple bucks and grab your copy when it's out !

new remix: "I haven't played piano in a while"

A couple of days ago, I listened to a beautiful piano improvisation by Tennessee-based musician Jet Smith. The recording of that session suggests that it simply happened right there in the moment, not too much planning beforehand or even preparation of the recording procedure. At some points you can hear the sound of cars passing by his window. This noise together with the delightfully played piano create a superb setting and make it sound incredibly true and warm. After listening to it a lot of times, some days later I decided to use the improvisation, reassemble some parts and add a little bit of drumming to it.

Here is a slow and deep remix of this wonderful piano improvisation: "Jethimself - I haven't played piano in a while".
